Chapter 12: Defying fate

“Today is the day” Lia said to herself.
“Lia come quick everyone’s lost it” said Jimmy
“Jimmy why do we bothered there’s nothing we can do”
“we have to do something or this will just keep going on and on. It has to stop today. I’m with you ok.”

“alright” she went to the ball room we’re everyone was gathered. Everyone had lost it, their eyes pierced fiery red and they all were trying to break out of the palace.
“everyone”
They all turned to her

“I’m sorry I can not let you out here”
“why princess now we can take over the humans isn’t that what you wanted” said Rose
“no it’s not what I want. what I did was out of ager and it’s stopping now”
“I don’t think so. This is the way things are suppose to be princess isn’t that why you took me” said Mia
“you don’t know what your saying”
“we’ll break out of here. It’s fate”

“not if I can help it.”
“Sun” Princess Lia turned to her.
“Lia look what you’ve done. This is why you were sealed away. As long as you’re here they’ll keep acting like this. It’s time for you to die”
“no…No!” as she screamed a light shoot out breaking the windows and shaking the floors. Everyone tried escaping through the Brocken windows.
“oh no” she said

“My name is Flame and I will stop this”
“Flame your still…”
“you’re not the only one who can be reborn”
He through fire at the vampires. They all screamed.
“Skye” he toast him a sword
“what”

“Skye your still in there right”
He flew up to him and swung the sword at him. Flame dodged it all.
“why are you trying to stop this!” Skye screamed
“Skye that’s not really you saying that. Come on Skye you have to come back. This is not the time for you to sleep”

“Skye will forever sleep. That Skye will never awake! Never!”
Skye pinned him to the floor and grabbed his throat.
“uh….Sk….Skye stop it.”
Sun started to cry.
“Let go!”

Suddenly the real Skye came back
“S….Sun, Sun”
“Skye”
“I’m so sorry”
“your eyes are still red so your not completely full”
“Sun!” screamed Jimmy
“what”

“Your blood maybe it’s an antidote”
“An antidote what do you think father?”
“let’s try it out”
He turned to Skye
“Skye drink my blood”
“huh?”

“just do it”
He drunk his blood and his eyes turned back to their normal color.
“Sun it worked”
“Wow I didn’t know my blood did that but how are we goinga cure all these people. I don’t have that much blood to go around”
“wait maybe mines an antidote as well since we share the same blood line” said Skye in reply

“yeah but it’s still not enough” Suddenly a door opened and all the vampires escaped.
“oh no there escaping” said Lia
“why did that door open. Doors just don’t open by themselves”
A vine from the castle attacked Lia.
“Lia” Jimmy got in front of her and the vines grabbed him
“Ahh!”
“Jimmy!”

“These vines they’re draining my power” Lia tried to break the vines but it wasn’t working
“Those vines. Wait don’t tell me, the castle has a mind of it’s own” said Skye
The vines drained all Jimmy’s power and he collapse to the floor.
“Brother!” Lia started to cry. Her blood scent made the castle start to collapse.
“Lia you have to get out of here” screamed Skye
“let them be” said Flame

“no but Lia. If they stay here Lia will die too”
“come on let’s go” Skye and Sun ran out leaving Jimmy and Lia trapped inside.
The castle had falling apart.
“Lia!” Skye screamed

“Skye there’s nothing else we can do”
“but…”
“we have to find the clan”
“but if Lia’s dead then shouldn’t everything go back to normal?”
“I have a bad feeling” they went into town to find the vampires attacking every human in sight.
“they’re still crazy”
“just as I thought, Lia must still be alive”
“Skye, Sun how nice of you to join us” Mia says
“Mia”

“yes it’s me remember”
“Mia you have to go back to your old self”
“Shut up! I’m never going back to my old self”
They heard rustling in the bushes. Mia stiffs the air. It was a human hiding in the bush.
“I know your there. Come on out little human.”
She put her hand up and the whole bush blew away. There was a human boy around the age of 16.

“stay away.” You could tell he was scared
“you get out of here” said Flame
He tried running and Mia tried going after him but Skye swung his sword at her. It stabbed her in the stomach.
He ripped the sword out of her. She feel to the ground coughing up blood.
“oh no what did i…”
“Skye give her your blood” said Flame
“huh my blood”

“it’ll keep her alive”
He walked to her and slit his arm. He got behind her, put his arm in front of her. She bit down super hard. Skye started to moun at the pain.
“it hurts”
“Skye that’s enough” said Flame
Skye tried pulling away from Mia but she wouldn’t let go of her grip.
“Mia stop!”

Flame burned her forcing her to let go.
Her wombs had vanished
“her wombs they’re gone.” Said Skye
“Your blood can heal people?” said Sun
“I guess so”
Mia’s red eyes had vanished. She began to caugh.
“Lia”

“Mia” said Skye and Sun
“Where’s Lia”
“we don’t know but are you ok”
“I remember being so hungry so I went into the forest to find some food but I had no luck. Then I saw a girl, she gave me a cup of blood. She said it was animal blood but it taste nothing like animal blood. In fact it was amazing. So amazing I wanted more. Then everything went black.”

“so that’s what happen. I knew they did something to you.” Said Sun
“Mia let’s go we have to stop everyone”
“but how are we going to cure and entire vampire race and a entire human race” said Sun
“Sun we have to try” said Skye
“I’ll go with you” said Mia
“No Mia go back to the house” said Flame and Sun
“Why can’t I help”
“because it’s too risky”
“I’m going with you”

“you are so stubborn. Fine you can come.”
“if only there was some way we can change the past so that none of this happened” said Mia
“yeah if only Lia didn’t lose it and we’ve never had drunk her blood. This would never had happened” said Skye
They went around the whole town rounding up the vampires and curing people but they’re was lots more left to do. Suddenly Princess Lia appeared.
“Lia your alright” said Mia
“Mia your back to normal”

“what’s with that crazy getup”
“Mia there’s something I have to tell you. I’m not really Lia. I am princess Lia”
“what princess, then where’s Lia”
“she’s sleeping right now”
“I want her back”

“you’ll get her back I promise. Flame, I want you to kill me”
“what!” screamed Mia and Skye
“please do it”
“there must be some other way. Lia’s still there, she could die” Mia sobbed
“I know that but it’s our only way. This is all my fault.”
“Mia we have to” said Flame
“no! I won’t let you!”
A chain came out of no where stabbing Mia in the heart.
“Mia!”
